Screenshots:

I have used an application called Grab to create a screenshot.  It does not have the capabilities as Jing or printkey2000.  Both allow characters such as lines or arrows or call outs added to a picture.  It is quite cool!  When I went to the jing website, I was directed to one.com.  I was not sure how what to do next.  Any ideas?  When I went to the prinkey2000 website, I noticed that it is free for 30 days then you have to pay.  Also, it is for Windows and not a MacBook.  So I will continue to use Grab for my screen shots.

  1. What I like most about Printkey 2000 is that it links to my PrtScrn key. It's always available. There's an update I haven't installed and I noticed there's a fee for it.

Odd about Jing. Here's the link: https://www.techsmith.com/jing.html. It's a staple when I want to annotate a screenshot, though I'm starting to like the browser add-on, Nimbus, also.

  2. When taking a screenshot on a Mac I use Command + Shift + 4. Your cursor will turn to a plus sign and then allow you to select whatever part of the screen you want to capture. Once you select the area of the screen you want to capture you will here the sound a camera makes. The image will be saved to your desktop folder as Screenshot.

    1. Wow! That is good to know, I didn't know you could adjust the size of your screenshot without using a tool. I also use Snagit, an extension from google.
